Our Mission

We have taken a proven formula from Helen Blocker-Adams’ Thursday night’s Political Dream Team Roundtable Discussion on her former talk radio show, where each week she and her team of five guests discussed local, state and national politics from a variety of political perspectives. Our initiative is undergirded by Helen’s latest book, Unlikely Allies: 8 Steps to Bridging Divides that Impact Leadership, which addresses and makes points about our mission, goal and the background needed for such a unique initiative as this. Our initiative is being implemented in conjunction with Helen’s book signings to be held in a multi-state area.

We will expand, illuminate and educate the electorate about the political and voter power of Open Primaries. Our approach is NOT to encourage people to switch political parties. We want to ignite a transformation of a mindset that has long been imbedded in the minds of voters that they must go to the polls and vote ONE WAY.

Background/Need: Politics and the media seem to thrive on dividing people today—pitting otherwise peaceful people against each other.  Who or what group is about common ground and putting a “face”on or humanizing the opposition?  Is the opposition really the opposition?  Are national groups and parties pushing southerners to be less southern-like? As a region, the South must dial back on the hostilities because industries
